Cryogenic vessels (Cryocylinders) are hermetically sealed vessels operating under pressure, designed for cryogenic liquids.

The cryocylinder is a small-volume gasifier shaped as a cylindrical vessel with multilayer screen-vacuum insulation. A spiral-shaped evaporator consisting of a pressure lifting section and a production section is built into the inter-wall space. In upper part of the cryocylinder there are shut-off and safety valves and visual inspection devices (VID). Each cryocylinder can be additionally equipped with a frame with wheels and an atmospheric evaporator of the required capacity.

Rated volume, m3 0,5
Maximum operating pressure, MPa 1,6-3,5
Maximum amount of stored product, kg 540
40L cylinders equivalent, pcs 60
Overall dimensions (L×W×H), excluding evaporator, mm 2100×830×1000

Cryocylinder composition:

  • Internal vessel with piping system made of high quality stainless steel;
  • External vessel – “casing”;
  • Inter-wall space with high performance screen-vacuum or perlite-vacuum insulation and vacuum maintenance system. The multi-layer insulation system provides long storage life and reduces cryogenic product loss;
  • Cryogenic shut-off valves (shut-off valves);
  • Vacuum port / valve;
  • Safety fittings: vessel and piping safety valves, tank casing protective device;
  • Pressure lift evaporator;
  • Instrumentation: pressure gauge, differential pressure gauge;
  • Pressure regulator with economizer;
  • Trunnions and slinging loops;
  • “Fill-discharge” unit with connecting fittings (ROTTA nut) and cryogenic filter.
